I feel so silly, I only just realised that the new character is a kobold. 2e still has me thinking they are canine not lizard-kin as they have been since 3e :-/

Apparently kobolds were lizardy even before 3e (Wikipedia says since 1e AD&D), but their speech was described as sounding like small yapping dogs, which may have been the source of the confusion. I’ll admit I was equally surprised by 3e’s reptile kobolds (I’d also assumed them to be doglike), and only fairly recently discovered my mistake.

Also, I really should put up the character profile page now that a respectable number of characters have been introduced. Thank you for the reminder. 😀
