I am picking up a hint of that too. Some subtle body language carrying the impresion. Perhaps a nuance in the dialogue.

I like to keep it subtle and understated.

Huh, all this time I assumed Jeek was a “her”.

Maybe she is just rather androgynous and the other kobold got it wrong? In her current situation it would be wise not to correct the point!

For that matter she might have changed her mannerisms and outfit to encourage the misapprehension, for similar reasons?

I think a cunning trap specialist would want to ensure that any engagement was on her terms, after all.
