That gives me nasty ideas about ‘similar’ maps (party gets hold of “Mappe of The Stronghold of Grack Blackarrow” and end up in “The Stronghold of Grack Bluearrow” or suchlike – the layout is the same {evil overlords keep hiring the same dwarven contractors?} but the room contents are bass-ackwards) and ones that you’re supposed to hold with ‘North’ facing down, and maybe back to front, etc…

“I think I’ll go for Generycke Stronghold of Iniquity – with the Caverns of Despair sub-basement option, just to give it a little flair.”

This newer comic just isn’t very funny. No offense. It’s the same old jokes seen in other comics which parody RPGs by comparing them to real-life work.

None taken. I try to keep it fairly broad as to what’s being parodied – RPGs, Fantasy genre conventions, corporate working environments, that kind of thing. It’s probably not going to appeal to everyone, but that’s OK, I wouldn’t expect it to.

Do you have any links to similar comics? I’ll admit that I don’t keep very good tabs on what’s out there, and would be interested in seeing what there is.
