A real mistress… ahem… master of psychology!

Dunno why but I always have difficulty with that competition website. I never can tell whether it has progressed to the next round. It still seems to be on round one to me, so votes can still go on. But it is pretty tough having gone up against ‘Manly Guys Doing Manly Things’ in the first round. They are one of the heavy hitters in the competition. So they are likely to be unassailable.

But there will still be folks checking out Dungeon Grind now, to size up the competition. And that can get extra fans and votes. So fingers crossed. And it is always impossible to tell the results, until the next round does go up. Because the competition aims to raise funds for charity, folks can buy votes. Which do not appear on the totals until after voting is closed.

All is fair in love and war though. And all the comics which have gotten through this far are getting exposure, so good going either way!

Thank you very much for bringing the tournament to my attention! 😀 And yeah, when I saw DG was up against MGDMT I’ll admit I pretty much abandoned all hope of getting to round two – but there’s no shame in it, I will have been bested by a worthy rival. And like you say, if it means readers are finding new webcomics then everyone’s a winner!
